Many of the people of today are raised on Hollywood! But Hollywood is run by Satanists whose purpose is to corrupt the world by brainwashing the masses into their way of thinking. Hollywood always puts inappropriate content in their movies and tv shows and we should not be consuming it!!

And because Hollywood is godless it has caused most of the people consuming Hollywood to become godless as well!

 

And even worse is pornography which absolutely no one should ever look at! Sadly many Christians are even guilty at consuming the filth of pornography!! Many young people have looked at pornography and this behaviour will only condemn them to hell! Too many people are addicted to Hollywood and pornography!! We must flee from sexual immorality! And also video games can be just as bad as well as secular music!! All of this so called entertainment just leads us away from God!!

 

The Bible tells us not to love the things of this world and that the devil has deceived the whole world and has done so by using popular media such as the television! The Bible says in Psalm 101:3 - “I will refuse to look at anything vile and vulgar. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.” This definitely speaks of Hollywood and pornography. The Bible also says in Ephesians 5:11 - Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. We are to expose the darkness that is of popular culture!!

Also the Bible tells us not to have idols in our lives and the Television is definitely used as an idol!

Another thing that the Bible tells us is that bad company corrupts good character and most of Hollywood is considered bad company! When consuming Hollywood it's the same as being surrounded by bad company!

Something interesting that I learnt years ago is that Hollywood is not just in it for the money...studies have shown that wholesome movies usually do better at the box office but with Hollywood movies wholesome movies are very few!

The Bible also tells us to redeem the time for the days are evil! This is the wicked generation that the Bible warned us about and it's true that the television has been used as a brainwashing tool to corrupt the nations!

Even something like watching the news or sports can be a distraction from us living the lives that God wants us to live!! Our focus in life has to be on Jesus Christ!!
